Voting Question: I am angry and depressed. Help please?

I am a nineteen year old guy living in a tiny town. I seem to hate everything and everybody. I cannot stand my parents, my home, my city, my community college, and life around me. The only time I am not mad or depressed is when I play my games or watch tv shows. I really want to make great friends, but I just don't care about meeting people. I have sort of a nihilistic view on life, and wish I could be a million other people other than myself. I just do not belong on this world. I could care less about media, great weekends, alcohol, drugs, drooling over some lady, politics, religion, counting calories, fashion, relationships, you name it. I am simply indifferent to 99% of every things. I just want to wake up one day and be the perfect version of myself, have every the relationships I desire, and live an opulent life with zero worries. The more I think about how far away I am from my perfect life, the more I contemplate suicide. Why should I suffer to make a few people glad? Not like my parents or friends really care about me anyway. I just want to receive away from it every. Like living in one of my dreams or tv shows. To star in an adventure worlds apart from my current reality. I like many hobbies, but it seems I never have time for them. My college classes are so sporadic it makes having any set schedule close impossible. Every time I think about this I become extremely frustrated, then that frustration is channeled into extreme sadness. I am stuck in a vicious cycle and not a clue how to receive out. *I am not going to look a therapist because they did not help me before. Also, I could careless about bible verses.

Does the suspension jack up after a while, does the computer go bad? Does the axels or ball joint mess up etc. Pro's same thing. What makes it a good buy. Im looking to receive an older jeep. Maybe 2003 or later into the tardy 90's. I want to give it a lift and some mean snow tires to rip through the heavy snow. Thats what Im after. Im looking at a Jeep because they are tiny, high off the ground and they are 4 cylinder vehicles. Saves gas and so on. Now I know some people are gonna be every like aaaw thats BS. But MOST Japanese vehicles are known for their incredible quality (Honda and Toyota) while many many many American cars are peices of shi# (not) sorry to say. Resolved Question: Recommended list of PSP games?

I just got my PSP, and I'm wondering which games I should receive for it. Typically I like adventure/RPG based games, but strategy games tend to bore me. A few areas that I find off limits: -extreme blood/gore (sorry, not a God of War fan) -first person shooter (way too difficult on PSP) -nudity/extreme sexuality -1v1 fighting style. "match ups" (Final Fantasy Dissidia #1&2) I can give 2 examples. One is a game that i really like, and the other is one i don't like as much. Patapon 3: Just bought this one, really fun. But almost done. Fun real-time action. Not too much strategy involved. RPG style. Good. Half-minute hero: My pal told me I should receive this game too, but I find it really boring. You have to plan out what you're going to do before you start it, and it can receive really repetitive and dull. Also the graphics are terrible. Any help? Games I already possess/played: -Patapon series -Half minute hero -Dynasty Warriors Strike force -Monster Hunter Freedom Unite (no instructions made it very difficult to play) -Gundam VS. Gundam -

Resolved Question: Is this memoir ok???? PLEASE HELP!!?

Is this a correct memoir? Hawaii Adventure 4:00 am, I wake up and am looking forward to the week ahead of me. This week I will be traveling to what I think is going to be, the best place on earth, Hawaii. I close my eyes and picture the crystal clear, blue water washing up onto the shore of the beach. I open my eyes to realize that the journey is truly about to start. After a 10 hour plane ride we head to the hotel. The views are amazing, colorful flowers, blue water, and a clear sky. As we arrive I notice how open it is, the lobby doesn’t have any walls to form a room, just a roof connecting to the building that has the guests rooms in it. Everyone was smiling, and I couldn’t blame them because this was by far the best place anyone could ever be. We gather our luggage off the cart and head up to our room. The elevator ride seems to take forever because our room is on one of the top floors. Finally we reach our floor and head to our room. As we open the door we are amazed at how nice the room is. The first place I always go to whenever I am in a hotel is the balcony. I slide the door open and a heat wave hits me along with the view. We had the best view of the beach, it faced right towards it and I could look every of the people. It was truly one of the best views I had ever seen. Later that evening we went a luau and had an amazing dinner, where they served a roasted pig. It’s a Hawaiian tradition of some sort, and being an animal lover it was nice of upsetting. However, the pig ritual that they did was really interesting. After the pig was served they had hula dancers perform and then they called up volunteers which is when I was called up on stage. Anyone who knows me knows I have extreme stage fright, however we were in Hawaii and I didn’t think I’d be back there any time soon, so I just decided to do it. Other kids were also called to the stage and they taught us a dance that we did in front of about 200 people. In the end I ended up having a blast and I even forgot about my stage fright throughout the whole dance. One of the last days being there, we went to a beach. We were driven there by a bus and as I got off the bus I was blown away by the view. There were trees, flowers, people every around, and waves rushing ashore. I walk slowly to the water so I can take in everything around me. My eyes are lighting up more and more with every step I take because of every the colors. The sun is beaming down as if it were touching me; I can feel the hot sand between my toes as I walk faster because it’s getting hotter. A sudden burst of icy hits me as someone jumps into the water. I glare at them as I take my towel and wipe the water off of me. A vacation to remember is every I have to say about my Hawaii vacation. It was the best experience in my life I have ever had. Hopefully one day I will revisit this amazing, breath taking site because it’s somewhere I won’t ever forget. It is very difficult to describe the vacation because it was so amazing. I couldn’t imagine anything comparing to my adventure in Hawaii. THANKYOU SO MUCH!!:)

Resolved Question: What do I title my essay?

OKAY! What do I title my essay? It's about my adore for reading and how it came to be. Here's the essay: I was a mere child at the age of twelve when I read my first, real book. I had no predominant reason for picking up Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. I was in a state of pure apathy and convinced that I had nothing better to do with my time so I sat down and flipped to the first page. I was not easily intrigued. The first chapter seemed to drag on with Bella’s altruistic actions and greedy thoughts. I found myself feeling as though I was wasting my free time doing something that I thought to be so excruciatingly dull. I read on. The book had not been appealing to my interests but I had heard that it was a wonderful read. This was why, of every things I could be doing, I had chosen to sit down with a book in hand. As I repeatedly forced my eyes to run across the pages, I strained to keep my mind from wandering off. I wasn’t exactly succeeding until the main character, Bella, first saw Edward Cullen. I had so many questions as to why he had acted as he had. Why did he judge her so harshly to the extreme of automatic hatred? Why was his family so exclusive amongst who they spent their unlimited time with? Why did Edward, a single and attractive high school student, never accept any dating offers? Already knowing the rundown of the story, I had a few guesses as to what these answers may be. For some of these questions, I still found myself utterly clueless. Suddenly, I was no longer reading out of boredom but rather out of the seed of burning curiosity that the Cullen’s odd behavior had planted inside of me. The further into the book I read, the more I found myself being further engulfed into the world of mystic. I was no longer lounging on my living room sofa; I was in the town of Forks, Washington, with vampires and werewolves being taken on an incredibly memorable adventure. Reading had never been something I was fond of until that day. It took me a little over a month to finish the entire series for I was a slow reader at the time. When I did happen to finish it, I felt a odd, empty feeling. I knew it was because I had left the town of Forks to return back to my reality which was mind-numbing in comparison to Stephenie Meyer’s magical masterpiece. Once I finished, there was one question that seemed to be branded into my mind: What do I do now? It was a question that I had no particular answer to. Throughout the next week, my mind kept flittering back to the events of Twilight. I couldn’t seem to receive enough of it. That was how I ended up rereading the series soon after I finished the first read-through. Again when I finished, there was that vacancy returning as I was brought back into the real world. I didn’t know how to satisfy the void inside of me so I did the only thing that had made me feel complete: I picked up another book and began to read. Twilight had changed me. Before the book, I was simply a child who got yelled at for spending too much time on the electronics and not enough time on the things that mattered. After the book, I was a child who read so much that my parents had to tell me to put the book down just so I could interact amongst our family. Before the book, I had always had an indifferent attitude towards education. After the book, I craved the knowledge that my English class provided. Before the book, I was oblivious as to what I was going to do when I got older. After the book, I knew that I wanted to receive into creative writing. Books are powerful. It was something that I had always been told but never fully believed myself until I picked up Twilight on that one fateful day. It is odd how so much meaning can packed into a single sentence to the point of creating an image so beautiful and powerful. It is also odd how so many people decide to ignore these wonders in life. I used to be one of them. Thanks to Twilight, I have converted over from the nonbelievers to the avid readers and it is safe to say that I am incredibly glad that I did.

Resolved Question: Hows my 'book' so far ? 10 points :) (adding on the rest in the details)?

summary ; 15 year old Jelaina wants nothing more than to receive out of the city, but when she meets Nathan ; her partner in adventure, things take a turn for the weird. They must depend on each other and go to extremes in a world where you can trust no one if they want to receive out alive. That is ; if alive is still an option. Chapter one ; Leaving. I had been on my possess for 1 night now. Completely alone. I slept in the woods because I figured it was a little more dignified then laying on the streets of L.A. like a homeless person that everyone took pity on. I wasn't homeless, I was a runaway. I wanted out of this city more than anything. I wanted to be in Savannah, Georgia. I would live out on Tybee island, and no one would know me. It'd be like a whole new start. It probably sounded crazy, a 15 year old girl going every the way across the country. I guessed that with determination, and the one thousand dollars in my pocket, I'd receive there. I'd never been to Savannah, in fact I'd never been out of California. I was never your average 'California Girl', I hated everything about this place. But I knew I had a connection with whatever was across the country, so thats where I would go. After lying in the grass, the early sun fighting its way through the skinny trees around me, I got up. I brushed off any dirt that may have made me look troubled and pulled my hair back up. I grabbed the blue drawstring backpack beside me and started walking. Looking down at the childish scoobydoo watch on my wrist, it was already 12pm. It didn't make a diffrence for me. Over half an hour later I was in front of a coffee store in the city. Standing in front of it I felt invisible, people walking back and forth around me, and I just listened to their conversations fade in and out. Soon I walked in, and ordered a mocha. The guy behind the counter looked like he belonged in an italian pizza place, the mustache deal and everything. (adding more..)

Resolved Question: I want to plan a bunch of really fun things for my boyfriend and I to do ?

I want to call it Adventure Time, after the show "Adventure Time" (obviously), we would do it twice a month, and I want to do things like hiking and visiting national parks; things like that. They would be surprises, cheap, and active. Outdoors or indoors, it doesn't matter. I need ideas for places in the extreme Northwest, like Washington and northern Oregon only, seeing as I'm only 17 and my parents will only let me go so far. We've already got a trip to Portland Oregon planned for his birthday and I want more ideas. It doesn't need to be anything spot specific either. If you do something fun in your town then you should suggest that as well. Even art and music related things would be great. Please and thank you! :)

Resolved Question: Any advice to teach abroad?

I have my TEFL/TESOL certification and have been thinking about teaching English abroad for the past few months. I contacted the agency in which I'm certified through, and asked questions about possible job placements. After accuring information, I feel like I'm am being guide blindly. I'm not asking for them to hold my hand through the entire process, but their way of job assistance isn't secure enough for my comfort. I was told that in order to tutor English in Latin America (I was interested in Costa Rica for example), I basically have to book a flight on my possess, then send out my resume/cover letter to schools. I then have to show up to the school and wish they need an ESL teacher, and then wish even more that they're willing to hire me right then and there. I have a huge spirit for adventure, but that's a little too extreme for me. I was wondering if any ESL teachers would be able to share their experience of finding schools and the hiring process, etc. Thanks

Resolved Question: What scientific advancements did ancient world have?

The 10,000 year old civilization which was more advanced than us. As many news agencies reported some time ago, Japanese Professor Susumu Tachi developed "a coat which appears to make the wearer invisible". Orville and Wilbur Wright aka the Wright Brothers invented and flew the first airplane.(1903) Talpade passed away in 1916 un-honoured, in his possess country(india). As the world rightly honours the Wright Brothers for their achievements, people should think of Talpade, who utilised the ancient knowledge of old scriptures texts, to fly an aircraft, eight years before his foreign counterparts. Flight has been the dream of humankind since they watched in awe as birds soared effortlessly through the sky. But, according to accepted history, it wasn't until the 1780s that two Frenchmen achieved lighter-than-air flight when they were lifted into the air in a hot air balloon close Paris. As you can look, the history repeats itself. But our ancestors understood very well that such technologies as "invisibility cloak" and Aviation technology should be used also for another aims. Some researchers and a few good scientists believe there's evidence to suggest that humans achieved flight earlier in history - much earlier(10,000 years a go)... so early, they say, that the knowledge of this technology has been lost and ancient stories that recount adventures of human flight have been relegated only to myth. Is it possible that humans developed the technology to fly in early civilizations - or in civilizations that are now lost to history? Institutions of higher learning have spent the last several hundred years perpetuating what may be the greatest lie ever told. Believing that their methodology holds the key to understanding everything in the universe, Scientists have portrayed ancient cultures as brutish societies that lacked even a basic knowledge of their surroundings. It’s only been in the last hundred years that this time-honored fallacy has begun to fall apart.Like the writers David Hatcher Childress and John Burrows, I have a belief that a civilization, much more superior and scientific has existed prior to our gift day civilization, which was extiginguished by a Nuclear War. We have the old scriptures still with us, thousands of them, which talk about immensly advanced Aeronautics and weapons. The aftermath of a Nuclear explosion is also well explained in these scriptures. "Those who faced the explosion were charred beyond recognition. Those who escaped, lost their hairs and nails, and soldiers would jump into rivers and streams to ged rid of the contamination." Aviation technology is some of the most well explained scientific developments of the earlier times. You even find diagrams and procedure on how to make an aeroplane that would be propelled by "Anti-Gravity". The engine used mercury in some way for anti gravity. We every know about the recently discovered Podkletnov effect, where a superconductor rotated at very high RPMs causes objects to loose weight by nearly 2%, that are brought over it. Mercury, chilled to extreme temperature would act as a superconductor. The secret of constructing aeroplanes, which will not break, which cannot be clip, will not catch flame, and cannot be destroyed. The secret of making planes motionless. The secret of making planes invisible. The secret of hearing conversations and other sounds in foe planes. The secret of receiving photographs of the interior of foe planes. The secret of ascertaining the direction of foe planes approach. The secret of making persons in foe planes lose consciousness. The secret of destroying foe planes. our ancestors know - the Earth revolves/rotate around the Sun. Ancient Greeks knew the Earth is (nearly :) round; Eratosthenes of Cyrene even calculated Earth size in 240 B.C. using simple geometry applied to how shadows of the Sun looked at the same time in two different places (Alexandria and Siene, Egypt). So the person who first discovered that the world was round was probably some Persian or Babylonian astrologer 3, 000 years ago. Scientific remains of certain ancient civilizations must still be hidden somewhere - beneath some ancient ruins, or pyramids, or in some caves/ highlands of Himalayas. Or there could be some ancient library, or manuscripts/ texts, which might have survived the ravages of Dark Age wars. These have to be traced - through dedication, meditation and intuition. Ancient Egyptians invented the clock and the 365 day calendar. They used various forms of astronomy in order to discern various facts, including the time of year, so that they could prepare for important events (namely, the yearly flooding of the River Nile). The Ancient Egyptians produced basic machinery, for purposes such as farming, which often used pulley mechanisms. Then, a lot of knowledge went lost, hence the term "Dark Ages", and thing Shivkur Bapuji Talpade, the Indian who flew an unmanned aircraft, eight years before great Wright brothers. But this success of an Indian scientist was not liked by the Imperial rulers.Warned by the t the Maharaja of Baroda stopped helping Talpade.Talpade’s wife died at this critical juncture and he was not in a mental frame to continue with his researches. But his efforts to make known the greatness of knowledge was recognised by Indian scholars, who gave him the title of Vidya Prakash Pra-deep. @ gazoo ha........ "I look you've set aside this special time to humiliate yourself in public." "I look you've set aside this special time to humiliate our ancestors in public. @ aggy If you do not know the truth and the life, you are not ready. If you know the truth and life, you understand it and accept it, but you never like it. "hey thanks for every the good comments" @You are now breathing manually Thanks and good answer.

Resolved Question: What types of "extreme" careers can one get himself into relatively quickly?

Other than the obvious military careers, of course. I can't continue on with factory work for the relax of my life. I need something chaotic to feed my desire for "adventure". I'm too sick of mediocrity and I need to receive out of this mundane lifestyle as soon as possible. What options do I have that wouldn't require years of college education? I just need a job that's exciting and where most of the training is "on-the-job" experience. If I had more prevalent Italian genes, I would have joined the Mafia by now. I'm actually trying to receive a job on an Alaskan fishing vessel, but unfortunately its turning out to be a lot harder than you would think.

Resolved Question: Fantasy Board Games Recommendations?

Okay im a geeky nerdy kid not to the extreme where i roleplay and play warhammer and spend hundreds on magic but i do possess talisman, sid meiers civilization and im looking for more fantasy games like talisman. I will only pay max 50 australian dollars for a board game and these are the guidelines it needs to follow 1. Playing time needs to be max 4 hours, maybe bit more my pal and I just played 12 hours on civilization. 2. Complex rules do not matter as i can read/understand them then tutor them to my mates. 3. My friends are sporty people who are not as geeky as me, but they do like a board game sesh if i supply the games. Try not to tell me things that are harder to understand than the theory of reletivity. 4. Needs to work well with 2 players, i play with my little brother who i beat in every game i cant wait till he is older and more challenging. I rarely have more then 1 pal over at a time so a game that works well with 2-3 players but still can have bout 4. 5. NO DUNGEON MASTER, if there was i would have to be him and my friends the adventurers so i wouldnt even receive to play the game. 6. RPGs would be good like talisman how you adventure level your skills find items kill monsters and there are different characters. 7. As said before maximum 50 AUS dollars, maybe a bit more if itlooks like a good game. 8. If the board game is not completely Fantasy but still RPG or strategy that is still alright. 9. For each board game recommendation give a summary on it (personal opinion) rate out of 10 as well for how complex, game time and personal out of 10. Dont answer unless you are willing to give 2+ board games following every of the over. Best answer is not based on which games i like but who answers my question the best.

Resolved Question: Is war really hell or is it fun ?

Now is war like a game or not ?? Is it really that horrific or actually very exciting? IT DOESNT TAKE THAT LONG TO READ. JUST 2 MINUTES OR SO. I always grew up thinking war was terrible for the people involved, and tragic and not like in videogames or something. I thought it was like 90% boring tactics and then sometimes killing which is horrific. You always hear people say war is terrible any person thats been to war cannot bring themselves to talk about it for decades and is tormented by it. People say "war isnt a game" But now recently Ive been doing some more research and the image of the reality Im getting now is leaning far more towards that war IS a game than towards it being tragic and horrific. Im watching al these REAL combat videos from Iraq. And its every heavy combat, theres every people getting blown up and pulverised by buildings and stuff. But the soldiers are having a blast. Theyre screaming like its a football game when they blow something up. The whole atmosphere seems to be like playing with fireworks or hunting in the woods, just fun. Every now someone gets hurt or dies, but hey so do people with extreme sports like motorcross, formula 1 or destruction derby. I try to receive some feedback from iraq veterans, and allot of em seem to adore war. Things like "I loved every minute of it" "being in the militairy was the best thing that ever happened to me" "Its like a rollercoaster, its scary but once its over you want to go again" They every seem to adore videogames too surprisingly, and spend lots of time on their playstation playing shooters when theyre off duty. For reason I thought that if you'd spend time in real war, you wouldnt really feel like playing warvideogames with some cheetos because you'd be tormented of memories of the people you've killed or the friends youve lost and what you coulve done to prevent. Most soldiers really do not seem to have a problem with this and adore shooting away on their playstation. When you ask a veteran something about what war is like though you often receive people being offended, being like "thats disrecpectful, its too painful for that person, my grandfather never once spoke about it for 20 years" And no offence, but I wonder sometimes, is the reason veterans do not want to talk about war is because it really is that painful or because theyre ashamed of how much they actually adore it ??? No offence meant. Im not really pro or against war. Just genuinely curious and confused. Is war really that horrific now, or do they only say that because they are ashamed of how twisted and perverted it is to like killing so much ?? When people say "war isnt a game" is this really true ?? Or is war for most soldiers just like a sportsgame, like an extreme sport. Just a deadly risky exciting adventure ?? Is war really every hell ?? ps: I really dont wanna offend any soldiers, I think youre awesome too. I think I might enlist myself. but maybe for a change itd be good to also think about how the people that lost a loved one that got blown up by the militairy got offended by the soldiers shouting "WOOOHOOOOOOO HELL YEAH" like its a sportgame are you serious or sarcastic ?? I dont think youve read my whole story

Open Question: Any anime with romance, fantasy, adventure, and comedy?

So basically, what i really need is anime with extreme comedy, fantasy(REALLY IMPORTANT) and whatever mentioned over and characters with totally epic costumes. Main character needs to be a male who grows stronger and stronger by training or fighting. And would be great if the hez in a group with members having powers and speciality. I dont mind nudity and kissing. And romance, where a girl falls for the main char.. =p(well, not that necessay fr the girl to fall fr him first...but there has to be romance). And comedy, there has to be a pervert in the group(like kon in bleach and miroku in inuyasha)...that wud make the anime silly enough. I wud be rlly glad if the anime contains the things i mentioned here in the details. But no probs, as long as there are everything i gave in the question. I have watched only three animes till now: inuyasha, bleach amd naruto

Resolved Question: Christmas tree insanity syndrome?

When my Nan was alive, and my Granddad with her; back in maybe the 1970's period: my mom told me stories about their adventures putting up the Christmas tree, which was an interesting experience. They like many people used to receive annoyed because of being tangled in Christmas tree lights, and my mom gets this way; I can't say that I receive that both by this problem, though it is a tricky job. My mom was a child at the time, and my Granddad would be swear at the tree, trying to be a perfectionist with the tree lights and ornaments or decorations. He apparently smacked anyone that touched them, and yelled at the to the extremes. People were forces to give a 'very wide birth' around the tree, and would not be allowed to interfere in any nice of way. He would spent hours modifying the tree, and the ordeal was so unpleasant that it was hardly worth bother. To be quite honest; I would rather not bother, as it is not worth the stress. A similar problem occurred with someone that complained very intensively because I never offered them some sweets from a big tin at Christmas, because they wouldn't admit that they were to shy to ask me; so I tipped the whole tin upside down and said "Have the F* lot of them!". They wouldn't cease saying "Your inconsiderate and greedy!" So with this Christmas tree behaviour, to me it I would call this extremism behaviour. This is completely abnormal behaviour. every the tree is, is it is a big bit of fury plastic with bit of pretty glass and plastic objects on it; it isn't so important that you should hit someone or yell at them because they slightly spoil it. It is just a silly tree. Why did they receive this like, or this pathetic thing that wanted, why? CREED

Resolved Question: Character names for my suspense story?

What are some good name ideas for my 2 main characters? This is a novel I'm writing about a kidnapping Boy: 18 year old who dropped out of high school after being held back twice. Lives on his possess. Is very sadistic and mentally unstable, and has extreme anger issues. Kidnaps girl character after being fired from his job at a landscaping company for ransom and revenge. Fights with her mom almost every day, and likes going on walks by herself, and loves adventure. Resolved Question: Is My Main Character Well Developed?

Hey, I am currently in the process of writing a six-novel YA book series. The plot revolves around a teenage boy who discovers that he is the youngest son of Satan spiritually. I know that the idea is cliched and overused, and the 'spiritually' part probably doesn't make sense now, but if my books ever receive published, then it would make sense. I don't want to reveal much here, so I would just like to make sure that he's well developed. I'm a girl who likes her characters to each have a personality of their possess and that they are believable. So here's a shortened version of his profile. Name: Blake Romano Age: 14 - 18 (the series is over a total of four years.) Nationality: Italian/French Species: human/demon Birthplace: Camden, New Jersey Current Residence: Rinaldi Heights, California (this is my made up town) Birthday: October 4 Zodiac: Libra, air sign Blood Type: AB negative Hair Color/Style: He has extremely dark brown hair in somewhat of a 'skater boy' style with fringed bangs. Eye Color: dark brown (though in his demon form, the white of the eye turns black, his iris turns blood red, and his pupil slits and turns nice of a neon yellow.) Skin Tone: tan (in his demon form, it turns extremely pale, almost snow white) Personality: brave, protective of those he cares for, active, and loyal, though extremely rebellious, disrespectful, rather rude, hostile, is easily annoyed, is reckless and hyperactive, combative and has a tendency to be violent. dad: Warren Romano mom: Maxine Romano Fournier Siblings: Gabe, Angie, Sammi, and Cassidy Other: Tony and Michelle Romano (his aunt and uncle he and his siblings currently live with), Chris Romano, Brendan Romano, Ted Romano, Lucas and Dallas Fournier, Annabelle Fournier, and Wyatt Fournier (he has other family members, but I don't want to spoil anything for anyone who would even be the slightest interested in reading these books if they ever got published) Closest Friends: Zak Aguirre, Lianna Aguirre, Aeryn Woods, Tori Vargas, Mason Radcliff, and Max Apostal Enemies: Rocky Shaw, Ulysses Baxter, Jett Lawson, Emma Anhueser, Jared Erickson, and the Rebellions (the first two are members of a battlefront he joins, the other three are people he hates to an extreme, and the Rebellions are a rival 'battlefront.' Again, i don't want to reveal much) Romance Relationships: Ebony Grace (it was a short, typical middle school relationship), Emma Anhueser (they started out strong, but she cheated on him, which resulted as to why he had not one romantic relationship until his senior year of high school) {i don't want to point out the other girl just yet} Weapons: some Beretta 92s, a couple baseball bats, hammers, and crowbars, a Benelli M4 Super 90 shotgun, twin estoc swords, and a halberd (He has the most weapons since he does have the strongest possibility of getting attacked anywhere he is. And yes, he acquires every of these weapons at age 14. And another yes, this is the world we live in now, just more interesting.) Powers: umbrakinesis (ability/manipulation over darkness/shadows) and necromancy (ability/manipulation over death/the dead; communication with the dead) Harmatia (tragic flaw; fatal flaw): recklessness Biography: Blake was born and raised in Camden, New Jersey. At age five, he was attacked by a snake after it escaped from it's cage at the zoo. When he was six, he was diagnosed with a case of ADHD (though his case is more hyperactivity than attention deficit, although he does have his moments.) When he was eight years old, he and his family were at the Adventure Aquarium. Some criminals overtook the aquarium and ended up shooting Blake's parents because of their rank with the police. (Warren was the chief of police and Maxine was a lawyer). After that happened, Blake's had nice of a dark personality. Over the course of the next six years, he became a juvenile delinquent. Before winter break of his eighth grade year, Blake and two of his friends caused a minor car accident after skateboarding into busy traffic. No one was seriously injured, but Blake was taken out of custody of his grandparents and he and his siblings moved across the country to Rinaldi Heights, California to live with his aunt, uncle, and three cousins. What do you think? Is he too cliched? Is he a horrible character? Can you relate to him in any way? Is the profile too vague? (though i didn't want to reveal anything important.) Please help me. I'm an author-to-be who wants to be popular for not only having a somewhat good novel series, but for having well developed characters. Your help is greatly appreciated. Oh and this is a P.S. because i am paranoid: do NOT even THINK about stealing my ideas or character. I've worked difficult on him and i still have a lot more to go (no joke, more than a hundred because i include minor characters as huge ones as well). Please do NOT steal my character.

Resolved Question: What does it feel like to be on a really big and fast roller coaster?

I've been on some smaller and medium coasters like The Zyklon (Fun Spot), Space Mountain (Disney), and Zach's Zoomer (Michigan Adventure), but I've never been on anything extreme like Kingda Ka, Top Thrill Dragster, Thunder Dolphin, or Millennial Force. How do these compare? How much more extreme does it feel to be going that quick from that far up with the huge drops? Does it feel bad at every? I want to try a bigger coaster one day, but I want to know what I'm in for first from someone who has rode one like those.

Resolved Question: senior year, i need to pick my path in life. can i get some opinions?

It is my senior year of high school and i have applied to multiple schools making it available for a wide range of careers. I have a weird personality, I adore money, I want millions when I'm older (doesn't everyone?) and I also desire extreme adventure (I mean Indiana Jones/Micheal Weston adventure). It is easy to look I can't have both and even to obtain either is nearly impossible, but I strive for my best so lets be optimistic. I know a lot of this depends on what i want out of life. I really just want money and adventure. I never really cared for kids and adore is adore, it comes and goes. I found that the money path could be obtained through a form of business (please correct me if I am wrong, I am only 17, I don't know many ways to make big money). I dream of working as a CEO making millions and living in a masion driving an Audi R8 (I'm sure eveyone does though). I have found that the best way for extreme adventure is military based. I am fine with joining the military and I would feel great defending my country. I also realized that if i take the military based way of life, I can receive even deeper into it. I can receive into special ops (Seals, Green Barrett's, etc.) and my wish would to eventually become a cia agent and gain ranks in that. My question is, what's your opinion? I'm really 50/50 on this and if i pick one path over the other, there really is no turning back and I want to live a life of no regrets and do everything I ever wanted.

Resolved Question: What zodiac signs are suitable for my fictional characters?

I'm writing/going to ever write a fantasy novel, and of course it has characters as well. Now I was curious what zodiac sign they stereotypically represent. I'd like some advice on this, since I believe in astrology but I'm no expert at what effect it has. Neither am I sure if my sign influences my characters in any way... Here's to describe some of their personality: Nr.1 She is very restrained, peaceful, graceful/elegant, secretive/keeps to herself (as in, doesn't really give away what she feels), thoughtful, yet can be somewhat arrogant and patronizing, thinks of herself as generally higher than others, loves bathing and is very interested in spirituality, aesthetic beauty and the principle of balance, may seem inapproachable. Nr.2 She's very energetic, knows her charms, loves dancing, enthusiastic about life, loves to tease others, is very aimed at her freedom, loves to walk bare-feet, is very romantic, not really down to earth but yet not too dreamy, really loves having fun, loves going out for adventure (she's the nice of type that convinces you to do something you'd usually not do, and then receive you in trouble), overall a very cheery character. Nr.3 This guy is very sensitive (over-sensitive), self-blaming, shy, socially awkward, curious, dares to be different, cautious, aims for impossible goals, really difficult worker (needs to receive told to take a break), sort of dreamy, romantic, fascinated by science, likes reading books, hopeless romantic, bad with emotions, innovative/revolutionary, stubborn, can be grumpy, self-willed, idealistic, sarcastic, thinks of ideal adore as a relationship that lasts for life. Nr.4 This guy is the nice of guy your mom warned you about, very serious about pretty much everything, very ambition- and status-orientated, usually doesn't stand out in a room, but when you anger him you'd better stay away, has a bad temper and can receive to the extreme phase of aggression, very difficult worker, doesn't believe in thinking; only craving to achieve and DOING, expects as much of himself as of others, knows barely any fear and knows he can overcome trouble, but simply stays away from it unless angered, is very strong, can be overprotective of the girl he "loves" (=/= claims). Nr.5 She is a girl that lives for teasing others and bringing them down subtly, yet supporting them when they need her, very family orientated, LOVES to take care of others, has a very lively personality and is almost always glad, is lazy (except if it involves taking care of others), loves to like life for every it has to offer, but is not too fond of extremism (wouldn't go bungee-jumping but loves to try a new nice of food, for example), loves to be in the middle of attention, is very flirty and doesn't like to be stuck to one person when it comes to adore, doesn't like working outdoors, very comfortable in her safe-zone and wouldn't want to risk getting out, likes her freedom, and cooking. Okay, so these are the main characters really. Not going into detail on them here, but I'm eagerly awaiting your opinions (: (Also, I like how my description got longer at every number xD) (What I personally would think) 1. Virgo or Libra 2. Leo or Sagg 3. Cancer or Pisces 4. Scorpio... 5. Taurus, maaaybe Cancer

Resolved Question: Should I go ahead and try to turn this into a long term relationship?

I really don’t know what to say. I’ve never feel so lost and confused. Few hours ago, Jack, whom I’ve been seeing for nearly a year got a call from the sheriff because they need someone very experience in diving to go do an emergency rescue at the sea. It was one of the most horrible things I have to witness ever since I first met Jack. If you look up “adventure” in dictionary, you’ll find his picture. He basically live for adventure and adrenaline rush to extreme. He work only part time, live in a tiny bare room, and spend money on toys such as rock climbing equipment, scuba gears, kayak, parachute backpack and other things. He also change job very frequently. Because of every of this, when I first met him, I thought I’d just have fun with him for a bit then move on and forget every about him. But he was just so much fun and we live in a tiny city, so there wasn’t too many option. I keep go back to hang out with him. After a while, we eventually start to spend times at each other place. That’s when it gets difficult. I thought since I’ll be done with my contract by upcoming March then I can move out and we’ll have no choice, but go our possess separate path. I have been married twice, am in tardy 30’s and good looking for my age, have a very successful career and make six digits a year (because of location so far, but when I receive back to where I’m from, it will go down considerably) So I have always been with man who are also very successful, closer to my age range, and serious about his career. Jack… He’s in tardy 20’s and doesn’t really seems to have a solid career goal in his mind but is a very responsible person with numerous qualities that I really admire and wish more people would have. He’s also one of the sweetest and loving man I have ever met. He has been here for last few days to take care of me because I have been pretty sick. Over four days, I couldn’t look him having total of more than maybe 10 hours of snooze and he remain active whole time either with his job as linesman, taking care of me, some side jobs, and some sports here and there. He was here today when he got the call. I could immediately tell it was a bad news. I have never seen Jack reacted like this. He looked really scared and goosebumps appeared on him and he just look like as if he’s staring into death’s face the whole time. For first time ever, I asked him to not take a chance with his life and told him I adore him. He end up say he adore me too but those people need to be saved and left. I have been on verge of crying ever since. I don’t even know what to do now. I am so torn between deciding if I want to have him in my life for good with full awareness of the fact he’d never be a career man and will probably always basically a big kid who treat me so wonderful or if I should just end this whole thing and move on.

Resolved Question: How to manage extremely complex data structures?

It's a sports sport -> subsport -> federation -> country -> league -> club structure for a sporting site. It's very complex because each sport has different structure (while there around thousand different sports). And I gotta make a CMS for it. There's about 10-20 thousand sport clubs, hundreds of leagues, bunch of subsports. And I think I have it every done in a month (data structure system and CMS), but as we started to insert data, we started to look many exceptions for the system. I.E. Basketball has around 3 layers of leagues, so I gotta rebuild the system to have 1 or more layers of leagues. It feels like never ending. I constantly have to change it in the same ways, and I don't feel I'm doing it the right way. Is there a more flexible way to do this? Examples of sport structures: Soccer -> No subsports (skip) -> Main federation -> SubFederation -> Countries -> Leagues -> Aikido -> Countries -> Clubs Basketball -> Federation -> Area (U.S.) -> League -> Subleague -> Subleague level 2-> Clubs Clubs Adventure/extreme category -> Sport -> League (has the same name as the country) -> Club Oh, btw I'm using PHP/AJAX and MySQL. Oh yea, the examples go like: Parent -> Child -> Grandchild and so on.
